After filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar announced that Priyanka Chopra has walked out of the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, it was reported that Salman is upset with the actress and has vowed to never work with her again. Recently, in a media interaction, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra opened up about the actress’ exit from the film.
When asked if Salman is angry because of the 36-year-old actress’ decision, Madhu said, “You people (Media) only make such stuff up, Salman is not upset with her.” Further, speaking about the incident when a producer of the film called Priyanka unprofessional, she said that there is nothing like this and everything is good.
A few days ago, Ali Abbas Zafar took to his Twitter handle and wrote that Priyanka has walked out of the film and hinted at her engagement with Amercian singer Nick Jonas. Priyanka, however, has not spoken up about the issue yet.
Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life 😊😉😍

Recently, it was announced that actress Katrina Kaif has replaced Priyanka as the film’s female lead.
Based on the 2014 South Korean drama Ode to My Father, Bharat also stars Disha Patani, Tabu and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The film is being co-produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and is slated for an Eid 2019 release.
Meanwhile, Priyanka, who recently wrapped her upcoming Hollywood film Isn’t It Romantic, will be ending her Bollywood hiatus with Shonali Bose’s directorial The Sky Is Pink.
