The internet is filled with reports of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt‘s hush-hush love affair. Alia Bhatt’s rumoured relationship with her co-star of The Student of the Year and Kapoor & Sons Sidharth Malhotra seems like a thing of the past now. And Ranbir Kapoor too seems to have moved on from his alleged Pakistani girlfriend Mahira Khan. While there were reports that also suggested that these link-up reports might just be to create a buzz around their upcoming maiden project together Brahmastra, Sonakshi Sinha on Neha Dhupia’s chat show kinda confirmed that Alia is likely to call it quits with her boyfriend Sidharth. Moreover, ace designer Manish Malhotra hinted that the actress would hook-up with Ranbir this year, thereby adding more fuel to these rumours. However, amid all these speculations floating around, a report by a leading tabloid suggests that Alia Bhatt has probably found love, but just not in Ranbir Kapoor.
A report by mid-day suggests that Hike Messenger founder Kavin Mittal, son of billionaire entrepreneur Sunil Mittal, has caught the fancy of the Udta Punjab actress. The two celebs first crossed paths at the World Economic Forum held in October 2017 and hit it off ever since. So much so, that the public figures have developed an affinity for each other, suggests a report in mid-day.
A source quoted by the tabloid says that Kavin is the first person Alia dials when in need. “They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it’s certainly a friendship that can go a long way.” The source adds that the duo hasn’t been spotted together since “they don’t want to make a public statement yet,” a source told mid-day.
As a matter of fact, links ups aren’t news to Alia Bhatt. She has been speculated to be romantically involved with Varun Dhawan at one point and now Ranbir Kapoor. The actress, however, has kept her private life, extremely private. She has never been vocal about her love affairs.
On the professional front, Alia has an interesting lineup of movies to talk about, Brahmastra (a fantasy sci-fi adventure) that stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan with Ayan Mukerji at the helm of it and Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh under Zoya Akhtar’s direction.
