OnePlus 6 is reported to be priced Rs. 36,999 for the 64GB storage model and Rs. 39,999 for the 128GB model. This bit of leak comes from true-tech, which claims that pricing details was obtained from ‘reliable and verified’ source. The pricing falls in line with earlier speculations, and if the report turns out to be true, then the OnePlus 6 will be the company’s most-expensive phone to date.

OnePlus 6 will launch on May 17 in Mumbai, India, the company has now confirmed. The launch event has been scheduled for 3:00 PM IST at the Dome at NSCI. To celebrate the release of the OnePlus 6 in India, the company has planned a community event, and the entry tickets to attend the event will be made available on oneplus.in from 10:00AM IST on May 8, 2018. The OnePlus 6 will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India on May 21, 2108 for Prime members.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has now shared a blog confirming new details including glass back design with five printed layers of Nanotech Coating, which it says is a first in the smartphone industry. OnePlus CEO also claimed that the glass design has been made keeping a sense of premium hand-feel.

Another teaser suggests that the OnePlus 6 might become the first ever water resistant phone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Just like all its previous teaser, this new feature was also teased through OnePlus’ official Twitter handle. “Don’t you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains? So do we,” tweeted the official OnePlus account.

The OnePlus 6 is confirmed to have a display notch, as revealed by the company founders Carl Pei and Pete Lau. The decision to go ahead with the notch was based on maximising screen real estate. Based on the company’s teaser ‘More immersion in a refined form factor’, the OnePlus 6 is touted to have an immersive Full-Screen display with nearly 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio; minimising the bezels even more so than its predecessors.

The smartphone will be powered the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset which includes Adreno 630 GPU. It includes 6/8GB of RAM and comes with 64,128 and 256GB of internal storage. This is the first time that OnePlus has introduced 256 GB of internal storage on its smartphones.

OnePlus 6 is highly expected to come with a 16-megapixel plus 20-megapixel dual rear setup with both sensors having a f/1.7 aperture. On the other hand, the front-facing camera is said to sport a 20-megapixel sensor coupled with f/1.7 aperture. OnePlus 6 is expected to be backed by a 3450mAh non-removable battery and run on Oxygen OS be based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Another interesting leak points to the smartphone supporting Dash Charge V2. ‘A days power in 20 minutes’ reads the poster, and we assume the OnePlus 6 reaches 60 per cent charge in around 20 minutes.
