Taapsee Pannu made her acting debut in 2010 with K. Raghavendra Rao’s romantic musical Jhummandi Naadam and went on to establish herself as a big name in the regional film industry. She dipped toes in Bollywood in the year 2013 with Chashme Badoor and then featured in Hindi films like Baby, Pink, Naam Shabana, The Ghazi Attack, Running Shaadi, Judwaa 2, Dil Junglee and Soorma.
Taapsee turns a year older today and it seems the actor will have a working birthday this time. The actor, who will next be seen in Mulk alongside Rishi Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana, is busy promoting her upcoming film and if sources are to be believed, the actor will be present in the capital for a special screening of her film.
The actor was last seen in Shaad Ali’s Soorma and had earned praise for her performance in the film co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi in key roles. And not just a working birthday, the actor is also likely to have a busy year as she has a couple of films in her kitty.
She will next be seen in Manmarziyan, directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. She has also bagged Badla wherein she will reunite with her Pink co-star Amitabh Bachchan.
In fact, the actor had herself shared on Twitter that she’s signed two more films post the above three in a response to a troll. For the uninitiated, a troll had taken a dig at Taapsee and had written, “Worst looking actress in Bollywood. Hope I don’t have to see her again. 2… 3 movies more and she will be out of Bollywood.”

But the actor gave it back to him and said, “But 3 toh already ho gayi … Mulk, Manmarziyaan and then Badla and sorry to disappoint you but main already do aur sign kar chuki hu… thoda toh aur jhelna padega.”
