Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have just begun filling pages of their Happily Ever After album. The couple stunned everyone last year when they got hitched in a private ceremony, only to make us believe that undying love does exist amidst the pompous stardom. Since then, fondly known as Virushka, are taking dearly steps towards a successful marriage and one of them is living together in a dreamy house.
When Virat took to Instagram to share a picture of the view from his balcony, fans thought it must the dream house that Virushka had moved into their new house in Omkar 1973, Worli, which he had bought in 2016 for Rs 34 crore. But reports suggest otherwise.
Several reports have revealed that the picture is from another Worli building in which Virat has rented a property for Rs 15 lakh per month. However, it is only a temporary arrangement and the duo will stay there for about 24 months. Virat and Anushka will be soon shifting to their new abode in Worli.
Reports suggest that Virat has bought a flat in Raheja Legends apartment on the 40th floor. The palatial flat is about 2675 sq ft for which the duo will be spending a whopping Rs 15 lakh as monthly rent. The buzz has it that the Indian skipper has paid Rs 1.50 crore as a deposit for the property and around Rs 1.01 for registration agreement.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma married in a lavish resort in Tuscany, Italy on December 11. Apart from the wedding, Virat and Anushka’s mehendi function and engagement ceremony was also held in Italy.
For their friends and colleagues, Virat and Anushka hosted two receptions – in Delhi on December 21 and in Mumbai on December 26.
After the reception, Virat and Anushka went to South Africa to celebrate New Year following which Virat stayed back in the country to play the series while Anushka returned to Mumbai to complete filming Aanand L Rai’s Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif and Yash Raj Films’ Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan.
