New Delhi: Things really went extreme in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) latest paper-view WWE Extreme Rules 2018 on Sunday night when Monster among men Braun Stroman showboated his fearsome strength and gave Kevin Owens perhaps the worst beating of his life and of his remaining much-promising wrestling career.
Stroman, who was up against Kevin Owens in a steel cage match at Extreme Rules showed signs of the Phenom-The Undertaker when he tossed the former WWE Champion from 20 feet at top of the cage straight into an announce table. Reminiscing the legendary voice of commentator Goold ol JR (Jim Ross), Strauman not only choke-slammed Kevin Owen from 20 feet, in fact, he literally sent KO straight to hell.
Speaking of sending to hell, Stroman recreated the unforgettable Mankind fall that happened 20 years ago at King of the Ring paper-view orchestrated by The Undertaker. The Deadman from Death Valley created an epic image of Mick Foley among WWE Universe by staging a career-ending fall 20 years ago.
Mankind and Undertaker faced each other inside diabolic structure of Hell in a Cell where the Phenom took his hardcore opponent to the extremes. Owens has never been a stranger to Strowman’s beating as he was thrown from the top of the ladder by the 7 feet giant in WWE Money in the Bank paper-view last month.
With their intense rivalry reaching conclusion at Extreme Rules, Strawman perhaps went overboard and did the unthinkable by chock slamming Owens from the top. Thanks to a career-ending fall which will perhaps leave Owen never the same, the contest came to a dramatic end as it was Mr KO, whose feet touched the floor first. Despite an unwanted finish to the match-up, Owens finished on the winning side but was awarded with a neck brace as he was stretchered off from the announce table by ring officials.
